Lara Logan
Lara Logan, born 29/03/71 was a South African television journalist and war reporter. She was an CBS News reporter from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes' executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan said that her inaccurate and politically biased report on the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the biggest error I've made in my entire decade of watching." She was a member of Sinclair Broadcast Group (a conservative media company) in the year 2019. In January 2020 she was a part of Fox Nation. Fox News offers a subscription-based streaming service. She claimed that she was "dumped by the company" in March 2022. Logan was a student as a reporter for the Sunday Tribune, Durban (1988-1989) and then the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she joined Reuters Television Africa, primarily as a senior producers. After four years, she ventured into freelance journalism, landing assignments as a reporter, editor/producer for ITN as well as Fox/SKY, CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC, and the European Broadcasting Union. She was a reporter for CNN covering events such as the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Nairobi and Tanzania as well as the ongoing conflict in Northern Ireland, and the Kosovo war.
